My Focus

Out of the wide variety that physiotherapy offers, I focus on the field of orthopedic medicine—a sector that covers most degenerative changes and traumatic injuries, which manifest with different symptoms such as pain, instability, restricted movement, or tension in our joints and muscles. I work in an evidence-informed manner and apply knowledge from several further education courses, aiming to target the root cause of the problem for sustainable and long-lasting results.

Treatment Structure

  • The first and most important step is to identify the root cause of the issue by evaluating the results of a series of clinical tests alongside your subjective symptoms.

  • Another key factor for success is understanding the underlying physical processes as well as the recommended treatment plan.

  • The amount of hands-on treatment depends largely on the present symptoms. The same applies to the chosen techniques, such as manual therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, or taping.

  • To ensure that you can continue working on your issue independently, you will receive a small set of tailored exercises that are simple and suited to your lifestyle.

This option is only available for clients whose homes are located in the Ericeira area and have enough space for a portable therapy bed, as well as free parking.
